Project - Bill Lankford's Leaky Cauldron/Diagon AlleyJune 25-28, 2004 Bill Lankford had a four day class at Mini Temptations for six students of miniature with the intent of each student finishing a model of the Leaky Cauldron / Diagon Alley. Take a look at their work in progress.
The Leaky Cauldron Pub is located between a bookstore and a record store (as in the first Harry Potter book) and is surrounded with a stone sidewalk. Appropriate signage, rainspouts with barrels and vines are included.

Leaky Cauldron/Diagon Alley is the first of a new series of 1 inch
scale buildings. It is a four-day class in which you will build the
structure, inside and out, including lighting. Base size is 22" x 33"
x 33"tall. The Leaky Cauldron Pub opens to reveal the interior as well
as a brick wall with trashcans. If you're not a Muggle, you will know
how to open the brick wall to reveal Diagon Alley with all the favorite
Harry Potter shops in forced perspective buildings from 1/12 scale to
1/4 scale.
